Fojo

Fojo began singing and performing in skits in church as a child; his life was centered on music. His first performance as Fojo, however, was at a night club some years after. On this occasion he participated in a competition, and the fact that he was one of the youngest competitors was of no consequence. This was evident in the enthusiasm and appreciation the audience showed for his performance. They even called for an encore.
Because of Luciano's "conscious vibes and [positive] messages" Fojo was always inclined to listen to his music whenever his spirits needed some uplifting. He also enjoyed listening to tunes from artistes like Shaggy, R. Kelly, Bob Marley and Michael Jackson. The inspiration to officially begin his music career came one day while taking a walk on the streets of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. He was there working with his father's construction company. On this day he witnessed "Youth Pulse" in action. From then he began voice training and was further inspired when he viewed the group "Immature" on the television.

Eddie was born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, South America, and has been saved a number of years, serving Jesus with a passion. Eddie has three children (Aqueena, Emmanuel and Zoe) and is married to Christine. While in Guyana Eddie is an active member in the Love and Faith World Outreach Church under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Claude and Pastor Carole Brooks. Eddie did not become this successful over night, growing up, his mother raised him in the church and put him in the choir at the age of seven. In addition, Eddie simultaneously annoyed and entertained everyone by beating incessantly on sticks and cans as he created his own rhythms. His mom would later urge him to enter and sing in various shows. One of Eddie’s greatest assets is creating lyrics on the spot to a track that he likes. As he grew in experience, he soon recorded his first song We can make it followed by his breakthrough hit LoveNunity and with its infectious beat, catchy lyrics, and his now famous trademark, rapid-rap style. LoveNunity has become a kind of theme song in Guyana and is the recorded music you hear if you are put on hold when you call the Office of the President.
